FIELD: waste water treatment. SUBSTANCE: method is based on precipitation of nonferrous heavy metals from solutions on naturally occurring calcium carbonates. As a result of formation of basic sulfates in gypsum-carbonate buffer, pH 6.4-6.5, extensiveness of purification is by one order of magnitude higher than in hydrolytic methods. Low solubility of carbonate ensures accurately dosed, with no excess, access of reagent into solution to be treated. EFFECT: enabled long-time use of precipitating agent in the course of continuously conducted treatment. 1 dwg
