FIELD: production of liquid paint-and-varnish compounds with polymer filler. SUBSTANCE: proposed method consists in dissolving polyethylene in dispersed medium in form of mixture of xylene with alkyd oligomers followed by isohydric crystallization of polyethylene from solution. Novelty of invention consists in preliminary determination of critical volume concentration of polyethylene after its crystallization at room temperature and solubility of polyethylene in said dispersed medium at dissolving temperature at which this solubility exceeds critical volume concentration. In specifying the compound of dispersed medium, initial volume concentration of polyethylene in its starting mixture with said dispersed medium is set in range of 0.8 of magnitude of obtained critical volume concentration of polyethylene to solubility. Proposed method excludes use of additional technological processes for concentration of filler since particles of filler obtained according to this method form dense packing.
