FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to methods of making a polymer article (embodiments), providing either selection, modification of existing and/or development of new developed polymer materials. Methods can provide improved reaction to application of local shear and/or deformation of tension inside polymer melt in various manufacturing processes, such as injection moulding (IM), pressure casting with blowing and alignment (ISBM), bezel casting under pressure (DI), extrusion blow moulding (EBM), extrusion, extrusion, thermoforming. Provided is a method of producing a polymer article, comprising casting or extruding a molten polymer based on polypropylene, polyethylene or polyester with conversion thereof into (semi) final shape when applying shear and/or stretching relative to polymer melt, where the shift and/or tensile strain applied to the polymer melt involves selective modification of the melted polycrystallizing polymer flow path depending on the local pressure profile over at least part of the flow path. Local pressure profile is defined depending on optimized reaction of polymer melt on applied local shear and/or deformation of stretching during at least part of flow path.
EFFECT: technical result achieved using the group of inventions is to ensure selection of the most suitable polymer materials based on their reaction to use of the crystallization induced in the technology of making polymers.
