FIELD: medicine, cardiosurgery. SUBSTANCE: a patch which exceeds defect size by 10- 15 cm is first sutured along its perimeter with P-shaped sutures. Then needles are put in from the side of left ventricle and P-shaped sutures are made through the whole thickness of interventricular partition. After that a patch is put into the defect. Sutures are tightened by fixing a patch from the side of left ventricle. The edges of another patch situated from the side of right ventricle are sutured. After that sutures should be tightened up and tied. EFFECT: higher accuracy of defect closing. 1 ex
