SUBSTANCE: method involves administration to patients of preparation quamatel (famotidine) in the dose 80 mg orally, 2 time per 24 h for 3 weeks, not less. Method provides reliable decrease of blood glucose concentration and increase of the level of plasma blood immunoreactive insulin in combination with effective ulcer scarring. Invention can be used in treatment of patients with diabetes mellitus type II with exacerbation of chronic gastroduodenal ulcers. EFFECT: enhanced effectiveness of treatment. 1 tbl
