FIELD: fuels. SUBSTANCE: invention relates to method of production of demineralized water-coal fuel, in part, to energetic fuel based on coals. Method involves coal crushing, its wet grinding, physical-mechanical demineralization of coal to decrease its ash content and homogenization. Coal crushing is carried out to size 3 mm followed by its physical-mechanical demineralization. Then crushed coal is ground by wet method to size (0.2-0.3) mm and mineralized with inorganic acid to obtain reaction mass from that low-ash ground coal is isolated and neutralized with ammonia. Method ensures to obtain the profoundly demineralized ecologically pure water-coal fuel "EKOVUT" based on coals, water and other chemical components designated for exchange of gas and mazut in fuel-using objects. Fuel can be used for combustion in boilers, furnaces and other units of heat and power engineering objects in exchange gas and mazut for water-coal fuel proposed.
