METHOD OF GROUND CONSOLIDATION Russian patent published in 2002 - IPC

FIELD: construction engineering; applicable in construction and reconstruction of roadbeds, linear transportation structures, bases and foundations of supports of artificial structures, contact systems, etc under conditions of ground water-logging and heaving. SUBSTANCE: method includes treatment of ground with water and consolidating composition having binder and organic additive with subsequent compaction of ground mixture. Additionally introduced into consolidating composition is zeolite and sealing ferment. Binder is used in the form of dolomite lime. Organic additive is used in the form of ballast contaminant, sealing ferment in the form of surfactant based on proteins and sugars. Ground is simultaneously treated with components of consolidating composition and water in amount of 6-10% of ground weight. Consolidating composition has the following ratio of components, wt.%: dolomite line (in terms of CaO+MgO), 40.0-50.0; zeolite (in terms of silicon dioxide), 25.0-40.0; ballast contaminant, 20.0-24.0; sealing ferment in the form of sulfide-cellulose liquor, 0.3-1.0.
