A method for preventing the formation of frost boils in the roadbed of operated roads and railways on seasonally freezing soils includes immersion of injectors vertically and at an angle to a depth corresponding to the maximum seasonal freezing of the soil of the roadbed, the creation of fragments of transformed soil in the reinforced array of the roadbed by introducing a mixture containing fixing materials into the ground through injectors to create around the array of the roadbed, subject to heaving, capillary barrier of hardened soil at depth, according to the depth of the maximum seasonal freezing of soils, the injectors are immersed on one side of the roadbed, the values of the angles of inclination of the injectors relative to the horizontal are assigned from 30° to 60°, an aqueous solution of sodium silicate Na2SiO3 with a hardener – carbon dioxide is injected as a fixing material, a capillary barrier is created from a set of individual modified soil elements with a height of 1/3 of the depth of freezing, while the height of the capillary barrier is regulated by the length of the perforated part of the injector.

EFFECT: simplification of work production technology, prevention of groundwater access to the freezing zone, which increases the reliability of the protection of the upper structure of the path from the deformation of the heaving of freezing soils.
