FIELD: amateur and sports fishing. SUBSTANCE: proposed device is designed for use at bottom fishing. Biting indicator has holder installed on finishing rod and provided with channel with inlet and outlet holes, flexible member passed through holder channel for displacement along channel, and signalling element coupled with flexible element. Axes of inlet and outlet holes of holder channel are arranged at angle relative to each other. Position of axis of inlet hole is fixed relative to axis of fishing rod. Holder can be made sectionalized. If holder consists to two sections, one of section can be shifted relative to the other. Device can be furnished additionally with lever through which signalling element is coupled with flexible element. Holder can be installed on fishing rod for changing its position by turning around axis of finishing rod. This provides improved functional adaptability of indicator to changes of fishing conditions, particularly to change of height of bank. EFFECT: simplified design of biting indicator, improved reliability, facilitated adjusting and servicing at increased functional adaptability at bottom fishing. 5 cl, 3 dwg
