METHOD OF FODDER PREPARATION Russian patent published in 2002 - IPC

FIELD: fodder production, particularly, methods of preparing fodder for animals with introduction of mineral additives possessing therapeutic-and-prophylactic and growth-stimulating action. SUBSTANCE: ultradispersed powder of iron is preliminarily mixed with glycerine and introduced in fodder as a mineral additive, and then mixture is treated by ultrasound. Before using, prepared suspension is diluted by water and introduced in fodder in terms of 3.3-25 mg of ultradispersed powder of iron per one kg of fodder. Ultradispersed powder of iron is mixed with glycerine in weight ratio of 1:8-12, and said mixture is treated by ultrasound for 5-10 min. Before using, said suspension is diluted by water up to concentration of ultradispersed powder of iron of 10^-2-10^-5 %. The invention increases efficiency of therapeutic-and-prophylactic action of fodder due to increasing of penetrating ability of particles of mineral additive through cell membranes, their better assimilability by animal's organism, and homogeneity of qualitative properties of fodder.
