SUBSTANCE: ointment comprising metronidazol and proteoglycans aggregates has ethylenediaminetetraacetic acid sodium salt (EDTA-Na) additionally, vaseline and ethyl alcohol taken in the definite ratio of components. Aromatic principles and/or essential oils and preserving agents and/or antioxidants are used as additions. Invention provides decrease of metronidazol concentration by 2-5-fold and disappearance of itching and blepharon edema and eyelash growing on. Invention can be used for treatment of blepharitis and blepharoconjunctivitis caused by mites D. folliculorum and D. brevis.
