FIELD: plastic metal working, namely automatization of forging processes in hammer press. SUBSTANCE: apparatus includes key designed for moving driven mechanism through leverage. Said key is jointly secured by its upper part, it engages with striking portion of hammer and it is mounted with inclination angle relative to motion path of striking portion. Second key is mounted in parallel relative to first key. Both keys are shaped and they are joined one with another through system realizing their mutual arrangement in such a way that to provide their continuous contact with hammer striking portion. The last acts with alternation upon one of said keys. System realizing mutual arrangement of keys may include two identical leverage mechanisms or pair of toothed racks and gear wheel. Such design eliminates influence of inertia force upon motion characteristics of final link of apparatus. EFFECT: improved design. 4 cl, 2 dwg
