FIELD: transport engineering. SUBSTANCE: differential transfer case has housing, cylindrical differential consisting of central double-rim sun gear, two crown gears with common hub and carrier with coaxially installed first and second planet pinions. Input shaft connected with carrier is connected to gearbox. Output shaft connected with crown gears is connected to rear axle through propeller shaft drive. Output shaft connected with sun gear is connected to front axle through propeller shaft drive. Sleeve is coupled with outer ends of planet pinion axles. With sleeve in first extreme position, first planet pinions mesh with corresponding toothed rims of sun and crown gears. With sleeve in second position, second planet pinions mesh with other toothed rims of sun and crown gears. EFFECT: increased cross-country capacity of all-wheel-drive automobiles with differential drive of driving axles. 1 dwg
