FIELD: mechanical engineering. SUBSTANCE: differential transmission has driving member in form of pinion driven from gearbox shaft and two differential mechanisms, each made in form of planetary gear train with cylindrical gears. Torque from gearbox is transmitted to carrier of first planetary gear train. Smaller part of torque is transmitted through sun gear of first planetary gear train to one of front wheels of vehicle, and larger part of torque is transmitted through ring gear to carrier of second planetary gear train. Smaller part of torque from sun gear of second planetary gear train is transmitted to other front wheel of automotive vehicle, and larger part of torque, through ring gear, is transmitted to wheels of driving rear axle.
