FIELD: transport; wheeled vehicles. SUBSTANCE: transfer case has differential with ring gear, carrier with planet pinions and sun gear. Planet pinions are fitted on shafts arranged in planet pinion housing and in washer connected with housing. Washer is spline-connected with circular shoulder made on shaft and provided with outer splines located at sun gear teeth level. Splines are divided by circular groove. Fitted in groove is locking member in form of split flexible shaped locking ring which has sections mating with groove bottom. Such design of differential makes it possible to use carriers of different design at one and the same design of connected shaft. EFFECT: compact transfer case. 5 cl, 6 dwg
