FIELD: manufacture of valves; applicable in shutoff devices installed on pipelines conveying liquid and gaseous media. SUBSTANCE: gate has body with seats and two shutoff discs which are made with wings and provided with guides. They provide for motion of discs between sealing surfaces of seats. Located between discs is cleat wedge which is made separately from stem and ensures pressing of discs to seats for sealing during gate closing and withdrawal from seats at beginning of gate opening. Guides are made in body. Made in guides are upper and lower windows of different heights. Wings are made with bevels and located on discs and located on discs for provision of their entering the windows to ensure pressing-down and withdrawal of discs, respectively.
