FIELD: valves for liquid and gaseous phases; applicable in public utilities and gas systems and other applications for shutoff of pipelines of liquid gaseous media. SUBSTANCE: gate has body accommodating rubberized disc and stem. Rotation of stem provides for disc motion. Disc has upper and lower sealing surfaces and window in which tetrahedral sliding nut is installed. Rubberized disc is installed in body for motion over guides with running fit. Upper sealing surface of disc is flat, and lower sealing surface is in the form of semiring for self-centering of rubberized disc relative to body. EFFECT: prolonged service life and reliability of gate and reduced time for its closing. 2 dwg
