FIELD: measurement technology, complex measurement devices with built-in calibration, automatics and computer engineering facilities. SUBSTANCE: procedure measuring electric and nonelectric quantities is based on periodic determination of parameters of real transfer function of measurement device, on conversion of measured physical quantity to output signal of measurement device, on evaluation of measurement results in legalized measurement units on basis of parameters of real transfer function fixed beforehand. Procedure consists in experimental establishment of sensitivity threshold of measurement device in its measurement range, in sequential conversion of signal of measured physical quantity inside boundaries of time interval, in execution of operations determining sensitivity threshold and parameters of real transfer function of measurement device on boundaries of time interval T1 which duration is set on condition that influence of systematic (correlated) changes of parameters of real transfer function of measurement device on measurement results of physical quantity is negligible in comparison with errors of sensitivity threshold of measurement device.
