FIELD: measuring equipment.

SUBSTANCE: method for automatic control before and after each tempering operation includes automatically recording measurement results of the mass of oil or oil products and automatically performing comparative analysis of measurement results of the mass of tempered oil or oil products based on the data from least three measuring devices. Data from automatic system of measurement in reservoirs, data from gas filling devices, data from automatic system of measurement in receiving tanks and tanks of vehicles with accumulation of statistics, facts of exceeding the limit of errors of measurement by separate measuring devices to prepare a conclusion are used to determine the possibility of further operation or necessity of unscheduled checking of measuring devices. For the analysis results of three unequally accurate measurements of the mass of the tempered oil or oil products the method of comparing measurement results to determine total arithmetic average is used, and for each measuring device used in tempering. Comparing actual deviation from the total arithmetic average with the maximum allowable deviation , where Mi is the mass of tempered oil or oil products according to i measurement device; Mo - total arithmetic average of measurement results; ΔMi - minimum permissible deviation of the result of a single measurement from the total arithmetic average for the i measurement device.

EFFECT: technical result - method for automatic control of metrological characteristics of measuring devices, possibility of timely detection of deviation of metrological characteristics of measuring devices from determined operating values without stopping the main process of tempering of oil or oil products.
