FIELD: mechanical engineering, in particular, investment casting. SUBSTANCE: method involves making investment pattern from investment composition of 0.1- 1.6 mm fraction; dispensing investment composition in doses in an amount sufficient for production of investment patterns with 1.5-3% porosity; pressing investment composition without preheating by aligning division surfaces of injection mold. During pressing investment composition is caked without substantial phase deformation processes and with formation of open capillary porosity compensating expansion of patterns during heating thereof in the process of casting from ceramic enclosure. EFFECT: increased dimensional and geometric precision of investment patterns and ingots. 1 tbl
