FIELD: logging; mechanization of loading and unloading operations. SUBSTANCE: proposed hydraulic crane-manipulator installed on self-propelled chassis has supporting and slewing column equipped with first hydraulic cylinder on which articulated boom is installed. Said boom has root section and telescopic section with grip. Sections are intercoupled by hinge joint and second hydraulic cylinder. Telescopic section is coupled with rod of first hydraulic cylinder surface. Ratio of radius of cylindrical surface to radius of block is 1:2. At said ratio of radii, grip of crane moves along straight line at any change of boom reach. bending dynamic loads on boom are brought to minimum, acting only at beginning of load movement and at stopping, i.e. at minimum speeds.
