SUBSTANCE: linear electromagnetic drive unit of press includes stator with winding and armature, guiding casing with stopper and return spring. Armature includes two mutually movable parts. One part is in the form of sleeve, second part is in the form of cylindrical core placed inside sleeve. Cross section area of sleeve is less than that of cylindrical core. There are shoulders in upper portions of sleeve and core. Initial position of armature is such that distance between shoulder of core and stopper of guiding casing is less than working stroke value of armature. EFFECT: enhanced efficiency of press. 3 dwg
