FIELD: process engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to percussion tools with electromagnetic drives. Nonmagnetic case 1 houses cylindrical stator 3, coil 4 confined by top and bottom ferromagnetic poles 5, 6 at its ends, and armature 7 made from ferromagnetic. Inner surface of top ferromagnetic pole 6 is conjugated with armature side surface along its diameter to make air gap. Annular grooves are made on inner surface of pole 6 with constant spacing to make annular ledges 12 while mate ledges 11 are made on armature side surface. Spacing of annular ledges 11 corresponds to that of annular ledges 12. Bottom end face of armature 7 makes air gap with bottom pole 5.
EFFECT: simplified design, higher stability.
