FIELD: foundry, namely production of hollow castings, ingots, billets. SUBSTANCE: apparatus includes stool, casting vessel, ingot mold and central rod rotatably mounted on shaft. Central rod is provided with rams in the form of segments symmetrically arranged along axis and jointly secured to radial pins of central rod. At rotation of rod, rams are turned in radial direction by action of centrifugal forces. After casting by action of metallostatic pressure and efforts of metal shrinkage occurring at process of ingot forming, rams are shifted to center at rotating around axes of articulation joints in order to provide yielding of rod and free shrinkage of ingot. EFFECT: improved design providing enhanced quality of hollow ingot. 2 dwg
