FIELD: sanitary engineering. SUBSTANCE: method includes control of technological parameter at outlet of station through change of rotational speed of pump. System may be provided with rotodynamic, for example, centrifugal vortex pump and pump capacity is adjustable technological parameter. Sediments are taken by pump from at least one sector of lower portion of primary settlers at constant level of water and are transferred to reservoir with free escape. Dependence of lower boundary magnitudes of rotational speed versus capacity of pump is set experimentally at adjusting stage and lower boundary magnitude of rotational speed is calculated by set dependence and pump capacity. Rotational speed of pump is compared with obtained boundary magnitudes and in case they are beyond these magnitudes, pump is stopped or sediments are discharged from other sectors or other settlers. EFFECT: reduced operational expenses. 3 cl, 2 dwg
