CYLINDRICAL HOT-WATER BOILER PLANT (VERSIONS) AND METAL CIRCULAR HEADER Russian patent published in 2002 - IPC

FIELD: generation of steam and hot water; boiler engineering. SUBSTANCE: boiler plant includes cylindrical boiler with water-walled furnace chamber, circular headers, heating loops for heat-transfer agent for simultaneous generation of hot water and steam, heat-exchange tubes located in furnace chamber and in convective part which are bent in form of elliptical loops, built-in economizer, two circular gas ducts and air preheater made in form of casing where outer surface of boiler is enclosed. One loop is connected with superheated agent line feeding this agent to tank-deaerator by means of pipe line; temperature of heat-transfer agent is kept at the level sufficient for maintenance of saturation temperature in tank-deaerator. Tank-deaerator flash steam line is connected with boiler furnace chamber. Rear inner circular header of furnace is supported by cantilever support and is movable on this support; rear outer header is located on movable support with temperature mark. According to one version, boiler plant may be provided with blind furnace chamber of boiler which is two-way chamber for combustion products and one circular gas duct separated from furnace chamber. Metal circular header of boiler plant has sections formed by several baffles: some baffles are blind and other baffles are perforated; they are connected with covers on the outside of boiler plant and with tube sheets on its inner side.
