FIELD: measurement technology. SUBSTANCE: method involves balancing liquid in reservoir by means of, for instance, rarefaction before forcing the liquid out with inflowing gas. When discharging, the forced-out liquid is fragmented to produce drops of equal mass. Drop discharge period is determined. Gas micro-flow discharging into the reservoir is calculated by using suggested mathematical relationship. Device has working reservoir with shuttable pipes for supplying liquid and communicating with atmosphere having at least one shuttable control opening in draw plate mounted in the lower part. Reducer member for supplying gas micro-flow under measurement is mounted on the pipe communicating with atmosphere.
