FIELD: agricultural engineering. SUBSTANCE: pneumatic pickup has working tool with front wall, which defines with soil surface vertical gap during advancement of working tool. Other walls are in contact with soil. Working tool is made in the form of picking up chamber having constant area of effective section up to inlet contour, which is equal to area of pneumatic pipeline section, with gradually increasing section of chamber and reducing its longitudinal size in advancement direction. Picking up chamber has projection extending in horizontal plane toward advancement direction and arranged at height from soil surface equal to height of vertical gap. EFFECT: increased efficiency in picking up material from soil surface and reduced probability of penetration of small soil particles into hopper. 2 cl, 2 dwg
