FIELD: medicine, experimental pharmacology and cardiology. SUBSTANCE: one should sound the cavity of left ventricle in narcotized rats. Left- ventricular pressure (LVP) is registered. Loading is carried out by 30-sec-long pinching an ascending aortic arch. As a criterion to evaluate cardioprotective action of studied pharmacological products one should use a LVP value on the 25th sec of aortic pinching expressed in percentage against the values on the 5th sec of aortic pinching. The method enables to reliably evaluate cardioprotective action of hypotensive products at experimental hypertension. EFFECT: higher efficiency of evaluation. 1 dwg
