FIELD: medicine, oncology. SUBSTANCE: lesion focus is punctured with an injection needle to evacuate a cyst. When a cyst is completely evacuated one should continue material sampling from epithelial cystic lining. On finishing the aspiration a syringe is disconnected to remove the needle by closing its tip with the finger. Cytological testing deals with cystic content and that of epithelial lining, separately.
