FIELD: medicine. SUBSTANCE: method involves administering 96% ethanol as a series of fan-like punctures in performing translational movement with a needle from periphery to the focus center involving the surrounding healthy liver tissues of 0,5 of focus thickness. When reaching the focus center, ethanol injecting is stopped. The needle with mandrin is pushed further beyond the focus and then through the healthy parenchyma at 0,5 of focus thickness distance. Then ethanol is injected in retrograde movement from periphery to the focus center. Minimum number of puncture canals is not less than four when zone dimensions being of 10-20 mm. The zone being 1 cm larger, two puncture canals are added each time. EFFECT: prevented tumor tissue cells dissemination beyond the necrosis zone; enhanced effectiveness of treatment. 2 dwg
