METHOD AND DEVICE FOR EVALUATING FUNCTIONAL STATE OF AN ORGANISM Russian patent published in 2002 - IPC

FIELD: medicine. SUBSTANCE: method involves measuring biologically active points characteristics on auricle surface in known combinations during not longer than 2 s. 50 to 100 characteristic values are saved during this period. The collected data are used for determining energetic state of organism systems functionally bound to the biologically active point combinations and integrated characteristic of energetic state of the organism as a whole is determined. Pathologic deviations level is determined next to it for each organism system recording normal state, moderate disorder and severe disorder cases. Predominant deviations of systems level are also determined and functional state of the organism as a whole is determined. Biologically active points parameters are measured by means of device having probe provided with active and indifferent electrode coaxially mounted on the working end. The electrode are separated with insulation member and form measurement unit connected to data processing and control unit bus via preliminary amplifier, switchboard, full instrumental amplifier and analog-to-digital converter. Synchronization circuit which input is connected to quartz oscillator unit output is connected to the analog-to-digital converter.
