Method involves disintegrating vegetable refuse by mixing it with adhesive composition and inhibiting agents, oxidizing refuse, and subsequent compaction to give granules and briquettes, said adhesive composition being urea-formaldehyde resin with sulfate-type acid hardener and said inhibiting agents being lime/cupric sulfate mixture.
