FIELD: construction industry, erection of predominantly temporary structures in countryside, manufacture of heat insulation blocks used in erection of temporary storages, garrets and other heat insulation envelopes. SUBSTANCE: process of manufacture of heat insulation blocks includes compaction and formation of straw vegetable mass into blocks with their subsequent packing up with use of binding material and impregnation. Prior to compaction acid salt of sulfuric acid or ammonium sulfate and quicklime are added into straw mass, blocks are impregnated from outside with urea-formaldehyde resin, are additionally compacted, smoothed with removal of excess of resin and are later impregnated with acidic hardener or with saturated solution of acid salt of sulfuric acid or solution of ammonium sulfate as hardener. Upon it mineral loose material displaying fire retardant properties is applied on surface of block. Gear for manufacture of heat insulation blocks includes impregnation communicating tanks linked by means of chute and with transportation fixture. Tanks and chute are ellipsoid-shaped so that their surfaces in section present sinusoids. Chute is arranged in upper part of sinusoid and is fitted with adjusting reduction facility coming in the form of convex plates put on sides and top of chute on surface inclined towards one tank. Surfaces of tanks in horizontal section come in the form of opposite sinusoids.
