FIELD: chemical industry. SUBSTANCE: solution comprising 2 mmole (0.906 g) of terbium nitrate hexahydrate dissolved in 5 ml of distilled water is placed into dark box and 4 mmole (0.792 g) of 1,10-phenanthroline dissolved in ethanol and 4 mmole (0.400 ml) of acetylacetone are added. Dysprosium compounds can be used instead terbium compound. Ratio of components in box = 1:1:2. Solution is stirred, covered by light filter KS-13, placed under lamp DKsSH-200, irradiated for 8 h up to pink-crimson-colored precipitate formation. Precipitate is filtered off, washed out with aqueous-ethanol liquid (1: 1) and dried for 24 h. The composition of obtained compound corresponds to the formula: [Tb(NO3)2 Acac(Phen)2]H2 where Acac is acetylacetonate ion; Phen is 1,10-phenanthroline. Using different filters it is possible to regulate spectral composition of radiation in the process of formation of donor-acceptor molecules. The best results are obtained in the range of wavelengths 480-2700 nm. Intensity of compounds scintillation synthesized in this range is up to 258% taking account value 100% of intensity samples scintillation synthesized by irradiation with sunlight. Invention can be used in preparing materials for monitoring radiation, covers for greenhouses and prophylactic materials used in medicine. EFFECT: improved method of formation. 3 cl, 1 tbl, 13 ex
