FIELD: petrochemical processes. SUBSTANCE: straight-run gasoline fraction boiling up to 200 C (originated from petroleum or gas condensate) is subjected to reforming in presence of platinum-containing catalyst at 480-530 C and pressure up to 4 MPa, volumetric raw material supply rate 1.5 h-1, and factor of hydrogen-containing gas circulation 1500 cu.m/cu.m. Reforming product is then rectified and fraction 60-125 C isolated, from which desired benzene and toluene are extracted. EFFECT: increased yield of benzene and toluene. 1 tbl, 3 ex
