FIELD: gasoline production. SUBSTANCE: straight-run gasoline is subjected to reforming. From reforming product, isolated are: top fraction boiling from boiling point to 90 C, middle fraction 90-140 C, and residual fraction 140 C to dry point. Top fraction is further subjected to hydroaromatization in presence of platinum-containing catalyst (in particular, alumino-platinum catalyst) at elevated temperature (preferably at 200-450 C), pressure up to 5 Pma, and raw material flow rate 1-5 hr-1. Hydroaromatization product is combined with middle fraction. EFFECT: reduced power and hydrogen consumption, increased anti- knock characteristic of product. 3 cl, 1 dwg, 1 tbl
