FIELD: locksmith's work. SUBSTANCE: indicator for assembling jointly with the adjusting member or lock cover plate is used at opening of a window, door, cover or a similar construction with the aid of a separate handle, i.e. the so-called lock handle for a window with a handle and with a square spindle, preferably of steel, from a caught or locked position, or respectively at their closing or locking, having a rotary part that has a hole for the spindle, through which the spindle can be inserted for actuation of the latch or lock, at insertion of the spindle in the hole it is adapted to engagement with the rotary part for its turning, the rotary part is provided with a mark in the direct proximity to the hole for the spindle making it possible to determine the position of the latch or lock.
