FIELD: construction engineering; repair of underground sewer pipe lines. SUBSTANCE: oval winding head provided with ring made from spatially located rollers is placed on bottom of inspection well giving access to pipe subjected to coating. Length of inner circle of ring is approximately equal to length of inner circle of pipe subjected to coating. Elastic plastic tape is fed to winding head for forming spiral coating pipe which escapes from winding head having out-of-round shape. Wound coating pipe is moved towards open front end of pipe subjected to coating making it possible to obtain round shape before entering this pipe; diameter of round coating pipe is approximately equal to inner diameter of pipe to be coated.
