FIELD: rocketry. SUBSTANCE: the setting of the operating angle of inclination of blades of the stabilizing fin consisting of the stabilizing fin assembly, and adjustment of each blade at the operating angle to the longitudinal axis are accomplished by rotation of the eccentric pin with leveling of the base surface of each blade by the adjusting screws. The setting of the preset angle of inclination of blades is accomplished according to the difference of the datum points lying in pairs in n-sections parallel with the longitudinal blade of the stabilizing fin; the sections and the distance between the datum points in the section are selected depending on the pattern of the direction of rotation of the stabilizing fin blades with maximum remoteness from one another. First the preset operating angle of inclination of blades is set according to the difference of the base datum points lying in the center of pressure of aerodynamic forces acting on the blade in the section divined the blade in two, then the differences of the datum points of each of n- sections lying on both sides from the center of pressure of aerodynamic forces are measured, and the value of the rated operating angle of blade inclination is calculated.
