SIGNAL INTERFACE WITH EXPLOSION PROTECTION OF SPARK-SAFE ELECTRIC CIRCUIT TYPE Russian patent published in 2002 - IPC

FIELD: emergency alarm equipment employed in fire alarm, intrusion-detection and similar systems installed in explosion-and fire-risky rooms. SUBSTANCE: signal interface with explosion protection of spark-safe electric circuit type has power supply source, comparator, spark-protection unit, splitting unit, multifunctional converter. Spark-protection unit is connected to splitting unit to which power supply source is connected by means of multifunctional converter. Power supply source also energizes multilevel comparator which outputs are connected to output of multifunctional converter. Splitting unit additionally demonstrates energy-saving properties stipulated by its maximum output power and frequency-selecting characteristics determined by frequency conversion. EFFECT: provision for increased level of explosion protection of spark-safe circuits and simultaneous reception- transmission of notices from spark-safe circuit to spark-risky circuits and back. 1 cl, 1 dwg
