FIELD: sewing industry. SUBSTANCE: method involves additionally measuring distance from neck base point to front corner of armpit for plotting strip part of clothing; drawing from point at front corner of armpit arced line of radius equal to aforementioned distance; turning strip upper part until shoulder cut top part intersects arced line, when tuck is opened; for plotting back part of clothing, additionally measuring distance from neck base point to rear corner of armpit adjoining back; drawing arced line of radius equal to said distance from point at armpit rear corner to point of intersection with arced line having radius equal to width of shoulder slanted part. Pattern plotted by said method allows specific features of figure to be taken into account and precise direction of shoulder cut for figures characterized by deviations (stooped, high or low shoulder etc) to be determined.
