FIELD: devices for diagnosis, particularly, for enclosure of histological and biological specimens in optical medium for subsequent microscopic examination. SUBSTANCE: batcher includes body accommodating container for medium provided with appliance for medium metering, capillary head located in body lower part and cap preventing from drying. Cap is made in the form of bulky support whose area of base is larger than area of body cross-section. Support has internal cavity whose throat opens upward and geometrically follows configuration of body lower part. Located on bottom of internal cavity is device closing open end of capillary head and made in the form of spring-loaded horizontal plate or in the form of flexible body with horizontal surface.
