FIELD: diagnostics, preparation of histologic and biological samples for examination with microscope. SUBSTANCE: method includes successive submersion of samples into aqueous solution of fixing substance, into three dehydrated liquids containing water, as minimum, and into three dehydrated liquids containing no water, as minimum. Chemical marker is added into water contained in aqueous solution of fixing substance and chemical indicator is added into dehydrated liquid containing no water which forms colored compound together with chemical marker. If dehydrated liquid containing no water is colored visibly it should be replaced. Ethyl, isopropyl alcohol or mixtures on their base are utilized in the capacity of dehydrating liquid. Salts of transition metals in oxidation degree 2+, such as salts of iron, cobalt, copper and zinc, in amount of 2.0-40.0 g ( in terms of metal ) per one liter of water are utilized as chemical marker. Ortho-phenantroline, diphenyltiocarbazone, α- nitrose -β- naphthol, sodium diethylcarbamat, 8- hydroxyquinoline, 1-(pyridilazo-2-napththol, 1- (pyridilazo)-resorcin and 2-carboxy-2'- hydroxi-5'-sulfoformazylbenzene taken in the amount of 0.001-0.4 g/l alcohol or potassium or sodium sulfocyanade in the amount of 5.0-10.0 g/l of alcohol.
