FIELD: construction engineering; repair of pipe lines of large diameters. SUBSTANCE: wedge-shaped body with shares is secured to cylindrical ferrule embracing top of pipe line. Body is provided with ground hoists changing to blades. Cable loop located in gap between ferrule and pipe line is secured on ferrule embracing the pipe line from below. During motion of device over pipe line, wedge-shaped body cuts and separates ground and ground hoists make slots on both sides of pipe line forming trench and hoisting ground to blades. Cable loop cleans pipe line and ensures impactless passage of ferrule over transversal welds on pipe line. EFFECT: extended functional capabilities. 5 cl, 4 dwg
