FIELD: medical engineering; applicable in traumatology and orthopedics. SUBSTANCE: expanding implant for osteosynthesis has branches, each branch is connected with its one end to base provided with passage suitable for installation of two neighboring vertebras between surfaces facing each other for holding them at preset distance from each other, and restoration of vertebral column stability. Branches and base limit hollow holder which at rest has common exterior configuration presenting a cylinder with round cross-section, and a part of at least internal volume of holder directed to distal ends of said branches and having shape of round truncated cone whose large base facing said base. Implant has at least one distance sleeve suitable for passing through said passage, and large base of truncated cone. EFFECT: restoration of stability of vertebral column. 13 cl, 14 dwg
