FIELD: food industry; packing. SUBSTANCE: invention relates to device and method of connection of plastic layers forming sealed package. proposed device has sealing unit and induction heaters arranged in sealing unit. Each induction heater projects partially over surface of sealing unit and it comprises first compressing part to compress packing material. Sealing device includes also counter-elements, each arranged opposite to induction heaters to provide compressing of packing material between counter-elements and induction heaters. Voltage supply device for induction heaters is provided. Counter-element have second pressure section in position corresponding to section of packing material located closer to liquid food product than to sealing zone. Invention provides sufficiently strong tie in zone of sealing without formation of cracks near said zone and prevents flowing out of molten plastic beyond the limits of sealing zone even in case of rise of induction heating energy.
