FIELD: automatic packers. SUBSTANCE: proposed device for cyclic delivery of roll material into machining section has roll holder with brake mechanism including brake with drive, material advance mechanism including feed unit, receiving unit and loop forming roller secured on lever and arranged between feed and receiving units, and adjusting weight installed on lever for displacement along lever. Device is furnished also with two clamps installed at outlet of material advance mechanism in direction of material movement. Distance between clamps is not less than material feed pitch. First clamp is installed for moving forward and backward in direction of material movement. Feed unit has pusher mechanically coupled with lever, and pusher drive. Roll holder brake mechanism is provided with constant pressure unit which can be made in form of spring- loaded disk installed coaxially with roll holder shaft and coupled mechanically with end of shaft. Constant pressure unit can be made also in form of spring-loaded block arranged on roll holder shaft. Lever can be made in form of lever of second order, with adjusting weight installed between lever turning axle and loop forming roller. Drive of pusher is made in form of pneumatic cylinder on rod of which pusher is mounted. Pusher is arranged over lever which has through hole. Pusher is provided with guide installed for displacement in lever hole. Second clamp can be made fixed. It can be installed also for moving forward and backward in direction of material movement. Constant pitch of feed of roll material to machining section is provided owing to stabilization of tension of material over entire length of wound off section.
