SUBSTANCE: device designed for heating gas such as hydrogen prior to delivering it to metallurgical or reduction furnace has case accommodating transformer with primary winding and short- circuited secondary winding and is provided with two internal and external heat and electricity insulating cylinders having end plates with holes fitted onto laminated magnetic core; cylinders accommodate secondary winding made in the form of trapezoidal-section metal disk with holes. Case is hermetically sealed and its lower heat and electricity insulating cylinder is provided with holes made over entire circumference; cylinders and end plates are made of insulating material.
