FIELD: medicine. SUBSTANCE: method involves first making incision in conjunctiva and sclera flap is separated to limb in weak corneal astigmatism axis meridian to 1/3-3/4 of thickness 1-6 mm far from limb with width corresponding to postoperative cicatrix. Peripheral portion of the flap is excised. Tightening sutures are applied to the rest of the flap and peripheral edge of the scleral bed. Visual astigmatism control is carried out by means of keratoscope. EFFECT: enhanced effectiveness of treatment; minimized risk of eye injuries. 2 dwg
